July Newsletter - Celebrate Joyful July with us!

Dear yogis,

Thanks so much to everyone joining us on the mat. Our journey in June took us through stability, intention, connection and expression. Many of you have been showing up on the mat regularly with me for weeks, for months, for years! Let's celebrate that with an extra dose of joy in July, and a little break...

Four weeks of yoga in July will include June 30th and July 2nd, July 7th and 9th, (BREAK for July 14th and 16th), back for July 21st and 23rd, July 28th and 30th. Essentially, two more weeks, one week break, then two more weeks in July. Please book for the month by selecting four class passes here, or just one here if week to week suits you better.

Recordings will be sent to everyone after each class, you can enjoy these recordings for one week. I'll extend the access time on the classes recorded at the beginning of the month to remain active until 21st July so you can enjoy the repeats of four classes during the week off of July 14th/16th.

Outdoor events are up and running! Please check out my latest newsletter arriving into your inbox shortly for more details about how to book into these events which will be going on sale next week and tend to sell out quickly. If you haven't signed up for my newsletter yet, or if you aren't on one of my regular mailing lists, you can sign up for my newsletter here

We have a natural tendency, as humans, to dwell on what's wrong or what could go wrong. Add in a pandemic, uncertainty, and fear, and imagine the potential for damage that can cause! It's helpful and healthy for us to actively cultivate a positivity bias to counter these negative thoughts. Where better to practice that than our yoga mats? I will be guiding you through gratitude and present-moment-awareness practices, while guiding you safely through (fun) yoga poses that express joy in our bodies for the month of July.

You will have a week off in the midst of all of that. For your "homework" I suggest the following:

1. Eat an ice cream slowly and luxuriously

2. Dig your toes into grass or sand and savour the sensations

3. Watch a sunrise or a sunset

4. Smell the fresh cut grass or the sea breeze

5. Close your eyes and soak up the warmth of the sun or feel the coolness of moist air on your skin

6. Dance like nobody’s watching

7. Spend a few extra breaths appreciating and soaking up the benefits of your conscious joyful moment

8. Share your joyful moment with me to re-enforce your positive experience and spread your positivity out like sunbeams.

If you haven't already done so, one thing I would really appreciate is a positive review on Google. All you need to do is click the link here and click 5 stars, maybe write something if you feel like it.

Looking forward so much to a month of celebrating, yogis, thank you so much for being with me through the hard times and the good.

Kindest regards,

Sylvia.
